Selling my Marantz 2250B AM/FM receiver. The 2250B was made around 1975 and puts out 50 watts per channel and often tests out at 70 per side. Probably one of the more underrated (powerwise) of the Marantz receivers.
The receiver is in great shape and everything works as it should. The lamps were replaced about a year ago and the phono stage had two transistors replaced. DC and bias have been set. The feel of the controls is outstanding.
The sound is very clear and detailed and focused yet has a touch or warmth. Do not want to sell it but daughter got asked to prom so have to pay for it somehow.
Asking $349 Thanks

Nice unit.
My daughter was also asked to the prom (a little "earlier" than necessary--it is NOT her year). But she's just going to borrow a dress from a friend and this is going to cost me, almost nothing? So there are "other" solutions less drastic than selling every piece you own; I suppose?
Nonetheless the sales postings continue, so:
