These RDO-194 tweeters are in excellent condition. I had to buy RDO-198s to do the 2BTL upgrade and no longer can use these. They will be shipped in the same boxes and packaging that Polk ships them in.

    Star- that's right, I'm 99% sure. THe 194's replace SL2000's and the 198's replace the later SL3000 tweets

    Pretty sure the 12B's had the SL1000 tweet, don't know if it would be the same replacement though, should be...

    I'm not familiar with the 12Bs so I can't tell you if the RDO-194s are the correct tweeter for them. The RDO-194 is the tweeter that Polk recommends and sells to replace the sl2000 tweeter. Most people consider them a superior tweeter to the sl2000 and sometimes they are referred to as an "upgrade" for the sl2000. Below is a photo of the sl2000 tweeter for reference.

    12Bs came with Peerless 1981-1983 and SL 1000s (1984) The 194 can be used as a replacement for the SL1000 but the 194 faceplate is bigger. if you have 12Bs with sL 1000s and do not like them i would find some peerless there on that auction site all the time.Keith
