    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Richie is my all time favorite from Woodstock. This really sucks. We all know it is a circle of life but man......

    RIP Richie Havens.

    I saw him perform at Mountain Jam 4 or 5 years ago and he still sounded great.

    His Woodstock performance was absolutely pheominal! Great songwriter and performer! RIP Richie.

    I am loading that 2cd/dvd set as we speak. On of my all time favorites. He put the cool in tuning a guitar on stage. changing strings and shi7. LOL Richie is/was the Man! (technically everything BUT "the man" but it sounds better this way)
