I sent over $50 at the liqour store last week. Loaded up on holiday libations. Bottle of Bailey's. Some Korbel and Bacardi Gold to go with the Tom & Jerry mix. Some Indica IPA from Lost Coast Brewery in Eureka, CA. A really nice strong IPA I'd highly recommed to anyone into that style of beer. And a bottle of Merlot ('99) from Kenwood vinyards in Sonoma, CA.

I toured Sonoma County on a vacation to San Francisco about 5 yrs. ago. A highlight of the trip. Driving around hitting all the little winery's was a blast. I usually search out Sonoma wine just for nostalgia's sake. I think we even toured Kenwood's facilities but I'm not positive.

Other than one bottle of the IPA I haven't had a chance to sample any of it yet. Hopefully this weekend.

Section - I highly recommend Monterey for your next visit to CA. It has some decent wines that you could buy there too. Nice scenery if you are in to site seing. Unlike Napa/Sonoma area, Monterey is by the ocean side and the temperature is mostly milder than the temp. in the Napa Valley. Between August and Sept. would be the best months to visit CA.

The Master & Demiurge, cool. Thanks for the tip. I remember a co-worker recommending Monterey back then. She said she had gone to some really cool aquarium there, I think. We just weren't able to fit it in in the time we were there.

Shiiiit....you know what? As Ghetto as that stuff was I loved to put it in the freezer and make alcohol slushies with it while I was in college.

Nothing like Ice Cold Malt Liquor on a hot summer day :D

....even though alcohol makes you feel all warm and fuzzy!

Yeah, if it was cold enough it could actually taste decent, but definately not worth the nasty Boone's farm hangover...
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

"The 17 Mile Drive" is one of the most popular place that people visit. Don't forget to try hot clam chowder soup on a sourdough a Fisherman's Wharf, it's one of the best chowder I have tasted.
