You may not know him by his name, but he was the designer that created the iconic cover of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon". Even if you don't like Pink Floyd or don't own the album, you probably know what the cover looked like. Besides Pink Floyd, he also designed album covers for Muse, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, The Cranberries, etc. Mr. Thorgerson also directed music videos such as Yes' "Owner of a Lonely Heart".

If you have ever watched the Blu Ray for the making of WYWH he has alot of interviews in the movie.

Seemed like a very interesting guy. True loss.

One of my coffee table books. Great read with lots of pics. I also collect Hipgnosis covers. They did some great covers way before photoshop. The book cover art is an album cover they did.

Storm Thorgerson and Roger Dean were/are both phenominal artists to the field of music. Great loss. RIP Storm. It'll be another great loss when Roger Dean "leaves" as well.......

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
