Folks, the explorer is a VERY GOOD DAC/Headphone amp.

If I had the cash on me this would be gone as I will be in the market for one of these and this particular one is on my short list (and should be on yours too)

The explorer is great...i peresonally think the glass fx dac is the best dac value on the list

The Denon AH-D2000 are a great closed headphone in their price range and $200 is a steal.

That is a nice deal on the Grados too. If you like the open design, the SR-225 is a real sweet pair of cans.

I sold my d2000 a few months ago and got the d600. I like the removable cord on the d600 (the shorter cord works a lot better for me). I see why some people prefer the d2000 to the d600 for both looks and sound. After break-in and some time getting used to to the d600, I really like them. You can't go wrong with either the d2000 or d600.
