I don't get what is so great about it. I do not have a HDTV right now anyway and have been with DirectTV for 5 years. Like them over Dish even got some DN friends to switch over to Direct. A few companys have high end HD recievers with built in HD Digital Recorders for Direct. As good as it gets. IMO

Right On - DirectTV's customer service is awesome. They have got the highest rated CS awards for two years running. 5 years of excellent service.

    Scott,
The DVR921 is the only PVR that can record HD, directv recently unveiled a hollow mock-up but thats it.

The 921 can record 2 HD streams while you view a SD broadcast. If you haven't seen a 720p or 1081i broadcast, you don't know what your missing. The sunday night games on ESPN-HD are nothing short of breathtaking! I'm trying to work out a deal with a local small time dealer to swap an A/C system in his new house for a screenplay 7200 HD2 projector, I hope it works out. I'm looking forward to seeing some HD programs on a 100"+ screen!

As for Directv vs. Dishnetwork, I'll leave that for another thread.
