What is wrong with my pair of MM651 car speakers?

So, I installed these in January of this year and was running them on a Sound Ordnance M4100 (Crutchfield brand; non bridged; which is rated at 100watts per channel) in the rear doors of my 2005 Toyota 4Runner. Suddenly, two day ago, the woofer cones will not work, even though I can hear audio out of the tweeters. So, I pulled the door panels off to take a look. Oddly, when I apply pressure to the woofer cones, with my fingers, audio comes out NO PROBLEM. However, without pressure being applied, there is no audio out of the woofer cones? What gives? I talked to the people at Crutchfield and they are stumped as well. They told me that this pair of speakers should have handled the power of the amp with no problem. I am running MM5251 components in the front door *whichAny idea what is wrong or any advice?
Thank you in advance!
