In June, it will be 2 years with the IDIOT box in my house, and I'm not missing it yet.

I don't use netflix, and hardly even download movies from Amazon anymore. I spend most of my time here, or other forums, and youtube.

    So, withdrawal symptoms have gone away? We are contemplating doing away with "the box" too but I'm sure we'll replace with a good dose of Netflix and Prime...just too many good series we watch these days. Just wish their programming was a bit mor current.

    I've been 2 years, no problem. I can see the internet eventually taking over the market. But then the ISP's putting data usage limits or charging us per gigabyte downloaded like some of the mobile networks. Then it will be terribly expensive like gasoline. Gettem hooked then raise the price.

    Nice, it is annoying how much Verizon costs. I pay almost $200 a month. I do have all the movie channels, 3 boxes, and high speed internet, but no DVR, and no boxes in the game room, workout room, guest room... the worst thing is that I personally know 3 fios techs with no college or technical degree, that pull in over 100k a year. they go on double time at 49hrs... and come hang out at my pool during the summer while they are on the clock. I know what my backup career will be if the chrome thing ever stops...
