OK, my original point here was not necessarily about phones and driving, but does it get any worse than this?

My stepkids don't even want to have a conversation on one anymore, if they can't text a message you won't here from them for weeks. The art of good conversation is dieing a slow death
We will as a race eventually become mute  I seen 2 little girls 12-14 maybe a while back sitting next to each other and oberserved them for a bit, they were both on their cell phones heads down thumbs flailing, during the time I watched them maybe 5 mins in the Doctors waiting room neither spoke a word to the other or lifted their heads.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

You want the Zombie Apocalypse, it's already here. Just watch how people mindlessly wander about with heads drooped and tapping away on their phone.

I swear, if this country lost cell phone service for 1 hour, there would be mass suicide!
    No excuses!

Agree, like an episode of Seinfeld, most calls, texts are about nothing...

I've been rear ended 4 times by these idiots. My phone doesn't exist when I'm in my car.

You got that right Charley95. I can not count how many times I have had to avoid an oncoming that has their head in their lap.
    Too much **** to list....

I go out of my way NOT to IM, text receive or make calls.
I spend all day dealing with people, I don't really want to spend my time doing it.
