Potentially RT 5000 System Available as well as CS 1000P and FX 1000 as well.....

I have an RT 5000 Complete in cherry in near perfect condition. $1400 Firm, local pick up, Suburb of Richmond VA.

If I had to grade it , 9.5 out of ten, no scratches, grilles are perfect as well as amps.

I need to downsize, I won't sell for less as the system is near perfect.


I also have a CS 1000P in black as well as a pair of FX 1000 in black available. $450 firm on the CS 1000P and $350 for the FX 1000 FIRM. No shipping. I am not desperate to sell any of this so please don't low ball me.

Everything list is in near to perfect condition and works.

Hey dl090465, $1400 is a sweet price, I'm going to try to drive up to Virginia, can't make promises though! If I go, then it will is Saturday! That's the only time I can get there. You said your not desperate, will you wait till then? I do have family in NC, perhaps they can pick them up for me. I'll let you know tonight.

What a total bummer. I'm waiting to hear back from a relative who lives in NC to see if he can get up there sooner.

Thank you Gatecrasher!! I'm having a difficult time getting my relative to go, He's just busy with surgeries! He's a surgeon and his schedule is always full with patients and making rounds post-op:(
My situation with work and having an 8month old is almost impossible for me to just pick up and go. My vaca time is in August, that's the ideal time for me to really go and do whatever I want.

Three and a half RT5000 systems are enough for me right now but you should make a weekend trip out of it and go get these. Nice ones don't come up for sale very often.

I think your refusal to ship them is really limiting the field of potential buyers. That alone probably eliminates about 95% of them.

I just bought a complete RT5000 system in black and had it shipped from Chicago to Auburn, Alabama for $179 via Fed Ex ground. Five boxes with a total weight of 312 lbs. Everything was fully-insured and arrived undamaged. I gave the seller my Fed Ex number and all he had to do was to box them up and drop them off at any Fed Ex office. There are usually several places to drop off Fed Ex shipments in every town.

Can't beat that.

Gate,sounds like you got lucky with FedEx delivery, the past couple of deliveries I've had with FedEx have been disasters, some things are best just to be picked up locally.

I had two of my RT5000 systems shipped by Fed Ex.

My first RT5000 came from Polk via UPS.

They were all shipped at one time or another.

It's all in the packing. If they are packed poorly, they usually get damaged.

In my original post, I said I was not desperate to sell. I have had too many boxes shipped to me that looked like they were dropped from a two story building. I don't want to be involved in any fight with a buyer insured or not. I have been blamed for poor packaging so UPS could get out of a claim...THE UPS STORE DID THE PACKAGING!!!

Gatecrasher, $179 shipped! Heck, some guys want $399 and up! That's a good price, I agree, refusal to ship is limiting potential buyers! I guess it's easier for the seller to have someone pick up local rather than go and properly box up the system. I just bought a modified PSW1000 from a fellow CP member (resides in Va.) and ship the sub out to me in FL. Very well packaged, no problems at all! It went well and was shipped via ups.
I'm just keeping my eyes and ears open for something closer to the SE region.

Shipping is a double edged sword! If I were closer up north, I would of bought it already! Just bad timming, right now to drive up north and/or chasing down family members who live halfway to Va. to pick up is vey bothersome, close to impossible!!
