yeah well their employees who put it in a sealed box are retarded
but actually i think mtx mentioned that they have to...b/c the ppl above them told them to
theyre going to end of blowing, it doesnt have the suspension to support a ported enclosure

yeah, corporate doesn't let them put them in a sealed box... I asked the guys at my old shop why they didn't just seal the box or at least try to convince the DM to let them do it... but they basically said that he's a tight assed mother **** and wouldn't take the advice too well...

funny CC story btw... I went in and ruined one of the sales kids Sony sale... informed the customers that the new pentagon subs were realy a piece of crap and a poor design philosophy. then adam, one of the guys who's opinion i used to respect came in and said that he realy liked the subs and that they sounded realy good and hit hard in a ported box... I basically looked at him like he was a **** and wondered why i ever valued his opinion. then he has the nerve to try and discredit my opinion by saying "didn't you get fired anyway" so i told him off. then he has even more nerve to try and say that he knows more about car audio then i do. his main argument was that he's the one selling it. this from a guy who thinks the sony subs sound good and that audiobahn is a good brand... what a **** moron... I just shook my head and walked away with an amused grin on my face while he was in mid sentence...

Thank you... somone with money to show up the JL people down the road... <is relieved>

Oh and given the quality I have seen from Polk and the Looks of Momo... i'd go with the polk/momo I run old db12's and they are still pumping out more than JL's (and still not in the right box)

i have a momo mm12, its worth it to spend the extra cash to get the nicer polk sub. but im not gonna stomp on JL, i was with my friend the other day and his w3's hit, the w6's sound better and the car at the shop around here has 3 w7's 13" models. when it was in the basement it was shaking wheels off the racks up stairs... ...of course each sub was munching on 2000watts...

oh yah but grab the mm12's, they be some sweet subs...
