Tax question

Probably some tax gurus around here so I'll give it a shot. We have an adult daughter who lived with us all of last year. I know we can claim her as a qualifying relative because she meets the income requirements, but before we figured out we could do this she filed her own return. Now it won't let us claim her because she has already been claimed as someone's dependant (hers). My wife seemed to think we could amend my daughters return so that we could claim her but she can't figure out what exactly to change on my daughter's return. Any help would be appreciated.
