That's probably pretty rare, might belong in a museum of audio rarities.

One of the first true hifi cassette decks... frequency response was about 50Hz-12kHz. Moderate wow and flutter. i think it was the first deck to use Dolby NR.

Wollensak made the transport; Advent did the electronics.
Heathkit sold a very similar deck (same transport) with different electronics (and two meters).
At this late date, the rubber parts tend to have transmogrified to black goo.
(found one of the Advents at my favorite local emporium once - but decided I didn't want to deal with the black goo and returned it as an offering to the dump deities).

My favorite early Dolby B deck (FWIW) was the Nakamichi 500 - which was sold under many guises and brand names as an OEM product. Nice sounding basic two head deck.

I picked this up when i bought the cr820----i got the advent 201 tape player-Dual turntable-Advent Legacy speakers -cd player all for 100.00 in the attic stored. the speaker surrounds were shot. The turntable had issues. Stereo perfect. The OLDEST item Advent works rather good and to top it off the light works. I was surprised--awhile ago i opened up a tape player and the belts were goo..so ive seen that. But i still have my 1970's tape collection so its staying. And overall it looks good on shelf above the cr820. And it should be worth 50.00 service charge
