PSW150 and RT55 wiring

Right now I have the RT55's getting full range from receiver and sub getting pre amp signal (moniter out). Everything sounds great. Would I get any (hopefully significant) gain from wiring sub with speaker level and RT55 from sub so the lowest frequencys are filtered out. Using preamp signal to sub I have it almost fully turned up but sounds very very clean. Also RT55's handle full frequency very well... and yes I realize I am lazy for not just trying BUT I would like to know the experts opinions before I do.....Thanx
