So I have a question for you guys. I am moving into a new house and I am going to upgrade to a 9.2 setup. I currently have the following:

2x monitor 70s
cs 20
2x monitor 40s for surrounds
2x monitor 30s for rear surrounds
2x bic h-100 subs
Yamaha rx-a2010 Receiver

I plan on buying some power amps as well but my question is this. I am going to move either 30s or 40s to be front presence speakers and will be needing to replace them. Should I just grab another pair of 30s or 40s? Is there something else that would be a better choice?

Any advice would be appreciated.

With the way the room is layed out it has to be something that will go on the wall but thank you for the reccomendation. The presence speakers will be above and to the outside of the 70s. I need to figure out which other speakers I should use where and 2 more to add to the equation (the tough decisions in life lol).

    Thanks again.

Sounds like you have them in the right places. I've used both M40's and M30's in surround and preferred the M40's.

I'd just add a second pair of M30's for heights then and call it a day.

I would wire the room for 11.2 if your doing wiring. Gives you options later.
I currently run 9.2 and eventually going to add 2 more front heights for a 11.2.
Panasonic PT AE7000U Projector, Denon 4520CI Receiver, Polk CSi A6 Center, Polk RTI A5 Fronts, Polk Tsi 400 Front Wides, Polk Fxi A6 Sides, Polk RTi A3 Rear, PS3, 100" Apex Cinewhite screen.

I would probably grab a pair of FXI/A4 for surrounds, move the 40's to rear duty, and the 30's for front heights. Unless of course you could find a good deal on the older FX series speakers.
