I have the RTi A1 bookshelf speakers and like the sound very much. No too long ago I found a bag of this http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=260-317 from a speaker project for my friend and I decided to add some in the RTi A1 ...after this was done I played some music and I noticed an "improvement" in the sound. Now the bass is tighter like in a "sealed" speaker cabinet. This did not give the speakers more bass, but it "improved" the bass. I wonder how it will sound with a zobel network (impedance compensator, capacitor+resistor).
I always wondered Why Polk is not using impedance compensators in their speakers.
Make it simple...Make it better!
