I received my BAT tube pre this week, and I'm thrilled to say,i'm done searching for upgrades for quite awhile.
This new pre has brought my system up to another level! The seperation of instruments are more noticable, there's a wider soundstage, quicker bass, clean, smooth, and refined! Music just pours out of my ML's,and it sounds REAL! This thing was listed as a 9, it looks brand new to me,and I couldnt be happier. As soon as I hooked it up,I could tell there was a difference from my old Jolida Fusion pre. If its synergy,or matching the BAT's,I dont know, but I LOVE it! It's gonna be a fun weekend for sure!
I would like to thank all the good fella's on here for some great info. I was patient in building my dream system, and I think it paid off! Lots of good advice right here on this forum helped me to get my rig where it is today! Below is my completed system for a little eye-candy. Hope you fella's,and Ladies enjoy, and have a long weekend!

Nice system there sir! BAT makes some very nice stuff! Glad you are enjoying it! What tubes are you using in the VK-5i?

"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

This is my basement/2CH mancave. Sold the pool table, and built a 2ch rig. Would have been a lot cheaper to keep the pool table:eek:

    Wow!
System looks good. I played with a pair of your speakers ( or maybe the smaller ones) at Magnolia. Very cool. I liked them so much I built my sisters system with ML speakers.
