It's nice to see the HP wars throttling up again. Especially in this day and age of the Prius and Volt. Imasculating little sonsabitches the lot of em!

Will be interesting to see what the Top Gear gents in England say about it.

I agree it's nice to see HP making a comeback. There is no replacement for displacement.

Chevy is on a roll. First the Corvette Stingray and now this. Very nice. Way to go Chevrolet!

I can't stand the looks of the black rims though. Every time I see a vehile that has black rims, I automatically think that the car is headed to a bank to rob it. I sure do miss center lines and RWL tires but that's just me. Perhaps I'm just getting old.

I totally agree on the black wheel thing! I used to have Camaro's & Vettes. Didn't the black wheel thing start with the "Zipperheads" as Walt would say from Gran Torino? Gosh, the ZR1 used to be the king of the hill in the 90's with 405HP. Good job Chevrolet! Not a fan of the black wheel.

Glad they shaved 300 lbs off. The LS7 is a KILLER engine.

That's the point. I would even double down with a gloss black car with matte black stripes. Matte wihite stripes would be cool too but it wouldn't look as sinister.

They sold all 69 COPO's last year, and I'm sure the list for the next 69 this year is full..

They took the Camaro and filled every pocket book..

    1LT
    2LT/RS
    1SS
    2SS/RS
    SS/RS/1LE
    Z/28
    ZL1
    COPO

As well as a DUSK edition, and a HOT WHEELS edition with a V6 or V8.

I have been back and forth with trading mine in for a ZL1 but the better side of me doesn't want to take the loss on my SS and I truly love the color of my car, and the mods I have done would be for not as well..

    If I only had a bigger garage..LOL!!!

I've seen the ZL1 racing when I was racing my Z06. We were in different groups but the ZL1 was moving.

Here is my Z06 video. 145 MPH at the end of the straights then into a 90 right hander. Serious pucker factor that the brakes will work. I have the Pfadt suspension package and SS brake lines, Motul fluid and CarboTech. You really got to put race brakes and fluid when you track the car. The pads are extremly aggressive for the street but grab like hell on the track.

    Here is the video.

For some unknown reason the Mustand decides to brake on the straightaway at the end of the video. WTH ??
