I have mine about 8" from the back wall. How far back is your listing position?

That's about where mine is. I can only get mine about 6 ft apart due to room constraints. I have heard it is optimal to have the inside drivers the same distance apart as the listening distance.

I also have my 2Bs about 8" from the back wall and 6' apart from each other and they sound pretty damn good. They should also have some space from side walls.

Yep, no less than 3 ft according to the "bible". I agree, I like the sound coming from mine too. The think that impresses me the most about the 2Bs is the full coherent sound at low levels.

It will vary from room to room and also depend on the gear. Closer to the wall nets more bass, further less. I suggest you play around with the placement a half inch at a time. Too close to the back wall and the bass becomes boomy.
