Polk Warehouse (eBay) and a brief intro

Just a quick question for those who have purchased off Polk's eBay site, do they issue tracking numbers for items they ship?

I am slowly taking the plunge and have decided to upgrade my current system to the TSi line. I picked up the CS20 for $80 at BestBuy (after pricematch, coupons, and RZ credit), and ordered the 200's last week. I am very new to anything beyond HTiB, Pandora, and poorly ripped MP3's - pretty sad huh? I am absolutely amazed by what just the new speaker has done. When the right deal and funds are available I will be looking to pick up a set of 500's too.

As much as we love music and movies, as a single father I really have to watch the budget! I also realize that acoustically my living room is a nightmare and I will never be able to get great quality sound. Please go easy on this new guy who has learned so much from you all already and hope to learn so much more.

    Welcome to Club Polk ! I haven't bought anything from the Polk Ebay site but I typically get tracking numbers for any of the other purchases I have made on Ebay. Hence I think you should recieve an e-mail with that info. :cool:

    Same here. I haven't bought from the ebay site yet, either. But I'm sure they must "track"!

    Mine shipped via Saia and Polk sent me an email that linked to my speakers and I checked it everyday. :)

    They shipped on the 3rd and arrived on the 8th. They were in perfect condition even though it was over 200lbs!

    Very smooth transaction, would not hesitate to buy from their ebay store again.

    Yeah, you guys really sold me on the deals that they offer. I like knowing when the deliveries going to be so I can be home that day. I work from home most of time but every now and then...

    I never knew what I was missing out on. I'm just glad that my daughter is developing such a fondness for music. Especially since my tastes are so diverse. Maybe we can grow together!

    The speakers I have received from PA did come with tracking, however with heavier pieces like my 12's, the tracking was not like UPS or FEDEX tracking, but they do have it. Buy with confidence bro!

    You made a good choice. Nothing can touch the TSi line at their price point.

    Will do - thank you all again! The 200's will be going up front until I can swing the 500's. So I guess now is a good time to start to look for some quality stands before they move to the rear. At 10 lb, they probably are 5x the weight of what I currently have - pathetic. Why do I feel like I am coming out of the stone age (or perhaps stumbling out of the wilds into the first signs of civilization)?

    For posterity sake (in hopes that the next person down the line searches first). The order was placed on a Friday, hit fedex in my hometown at 8:50 pm on Monday. Should be here on the east coast before the end of the week!

    I bought my LSi25's off the Polk Ebay site about 3 years ago and it was a perfect transaction. Also purchased my Monitor 30's and DSWpro440wi from the Ebay site late last year and it was perfect as well.

    Some serious deals can be scored off the Polk Ebay site!

    Damn you PolkDirect! They just listed the TSi500's, guess I need to modify my signature. Things are happening not so slowly. :smile: 500's ordered, 200's and CS20 up and running.

    Now to consider amp possibilities....
