Yep! old Russ is heading south to the sunshine state. Got a promotion to general foreman over the Orlando and surrounding areas. So if any Fla Polkies have any advice on suitable areas outside of Mickeyville to live, please speak up (disneyjoe- Steve?) Maybe something close to the Atlantic coast. I'll keep y'all posted. Thank you North Carolina, You've been a great state to me.

    Congrats on your new position! I would have a hard time leaving NC for FL, but that's just me. I'm much more of a mountain person.

    Congrats man, the problem as I see it is Mickey Mouse land is dead center so the commute to either coast may be a hassle for ya. However, if I had to move to Florida I wouldn't settle for anything less than being by an ocean.

    Getting too "cold" in NC for ya, Russ? Congrats.

    What I'd look into is which coast gets the most hurricane activity before I decided on Atlantic vs. Gulf coast? I suspect the Atlantic gets slammed more? But the natives should know!

    Lightman1 in Florida, close to Orlando, Disney World won't be the SAME anymore! Poor KIDS, having to watch out for this deranged guy always popping out from behind the bushes? lol
