TSI400 vs. Monitor 65
Are these pretty similar? Local BB has some on clearance for $199 each but Newegg has Monitor 65 for as low as $149 each in cherry with free shipping.
also, is an Onkyo TX NR809 a good choice to go with these as part of a home theater system? Or something in that same price range from Acc4less.

the 65's are a great price. if you can swing it i would get the 75's @ $199 though. much better front l/r setup and would complement a nice sub better. get the 818 if you can afford it. it is beefier and would power the 65's nicely and the 75's adequately. if you can swing it, get an on onkyo xx09 if you can still find it, or an xx10 series AVR.

I'd recommend a refurb 2113 or 2313 direct from Denon for 399 or 499 respectively.

I was thinking of the 65's because I read they are easier to drive than the 75's. It's actually for a friend and I don't know that he wants to get a power amp right away, so I thought the smaller speakers might be better.
