I would agree with you many years ago. Today Class D or Digital designed switching amps are more and more organic sounding then ever before. They are warm and clean , fast and clear , strong and effortless. You should listen to the Peachtree stuff , I really dig them and think they build fantastic sounding amps. We also have Bel Canto which is another one that is beautiful to listen to.
Maybe you are right, maybe all these new ic's and microprocessors are more reliable and trustier than discrete design, But I am like "Air force one" I trust the "analog" discrete better.:cheesygrin:Make it simple...Make it better! -
I wonder "WHY" Bryston just give 5 years warranty in the digital gears and a 20 years warranty in the analog discrete amps. NO ic's here!!!
Think people....think!!!Make it simple...Make it better! -

I agree with feedback here. If it was me, I would fix the Adcom and use it in the system, although pio amp is very strong. Mine as well use both of them (bi amp??)

I had an Adcom GFA7000 running off several AVRs including an Onkyo 3008, and my Pioneer SC-35 sounds better than it ever did. The SC series have tons of power and a very nice sound, you won't regret it.
