Thanks to a fine gentleman and fellow polkie i now have a new ( vintage ) class A preamp by Perreaux, the " SA 33 " first impressions are as follows.... NICE! WOW! And a few other explectives. This is a very clean and precise sounding pre with great detail and no edgieness to the mids or highs just clean and sharp without being fatiging. It allows the tinge of warmth from the parasound amp to come through without any false color.base is hard hitting tight and accrate! No boomyness at all. And yes that is my dared on top that i have loved for :sad:quite awhile . May h

    That dared is a fantastic tube pre , never ceased to surprize me! But i wanted a change (upgrade-idis) this old perreaux is very nice step.but cant take anything away from the "little " dared, it holds its own.

    BTW great phono section. At least it sounds good ti me considering the entry level tt and cart. im using.
