Hello Ladies & Gentleman,

Still looking for a RT 5000 system in black or parted out system. If anyone wants to part with theirs, please let me know. I'm also looking for a PSW 1200 plate amp. The inept goons at the carrier company must of thrown mine out of the truck while it was still moving:( It was totally destroyed. So I need to replace it.

Thank you, fellow Polkies!
Frank.

Thanks rtart! I saw that.... Had I'd known, I would of purchased them. But gatecrasher beat me to them!
    Thank you though!
I'll still keep an eye out, I'm in no hurry. I already have the 3000's which I was really after. I'm still going to get some more of the RT's if I can get my hands on them!

Is the RT line suppose to be a really nice line of speakers for HT?

    Hello Polkie,

Yes, for HT it sounds really good. For me, I had to play with the EQ settings and proper setup of he speakers! I'm still playing with the placement to achieve the sweet spot. Everytime I move the speakers around, it seems like the imaging changes and to me, I hear the sounds differently each time. But, I pretty much found the sweet spot so I'll leave it alone now.

For music, it also sounds good, but the towers put out alot of bass!! I don't have a problem with that, I enjoy it! I've heard different HT setups, but I keep coming back to the RT's. I'm hooked on the way it sounds!
I'm sure other owners of the RT line feel the same way I do, that's why the are hard to come by and when you do find them you'll be hard pressed to give them up easily!

That makes sense because I've seen ads before where the seller says they are hard to come by and most owners hang onto them. Plus, it seeems like people pair them up with that big center speaker the CS1000p.

    Naw! They're no good!

The Rt3000 satellites I bought from rtart were pretty-nice. My original plan was to buy them as back-ups but they were a little nicer than my 2nd pair so now I'm using them and the others are now my backup pair.

I like the RT5000 for music too. They will blow your face off and shake the earth!

I currently have 2 complete RT5000 systems with the PSW 650 subs and a spare CS1000p center and two spare Rt3000 satellites.

    All in black.

I still need to get a spare pair of RT3000p subs to complete my inventory.
