Opinions needed for 5.1 system. Picked up 5 speakers to go with Yamaha RXA 2000:
Front- Monitor 70s
Centre- CS20
Surround- RTi6
Sub homemade Dayton 12" (already owned)
Total cost: $760.00
Room 12' x 18' 7.5'
Projection screen 120"
Any opinions?
Also suggestions for rear speakers.

    My first choice would be to get FXI/a4 for surrounds, and move the RTI 6 to rear duty. Providing room/budget wasn't an issue. If you just want to add something with a smaller footprint to rear duty, look at the OWM or blackstone series. Rears are a little less important than the other 5.

    You have a good system, especially for the investment. I would kick back, enjoy it for a few months, and then decide if your happy with the RTI 6's for surround duty, or would a bi/dipole be worth trying. Time is a good thing, especially in this hobby. Definantly cheaper anyway.

    I was thinking of FXI/a6 for surrounds before I got the deal for the RTI 6s ($160.00 including Target Audio Wall Brackets). My use is 60% music, 40& movies, including SACD. At the moment all that is hooked up is the 70s.

    If your AVR has pre outs, I would get an amp to hear what those 70's can really do. I think It would be better to have great sounding 5 channel than good 7 channel.

    If music is more important, concentrate your resources on 2 channel.

    An amp is on the drawing board. Hopefully Emotiva XPA-3. Any other opinions?

    Sounds like you have a plan. Save for the amp, keep an eye out for good deals on the fix/a's. Use the rti6's for surrounds, amp the 70's, and after getting the fx's use those for surrounds, and move the rti's to rears.
    You'll have improvements to look forward to for awhile
    Most importantly enjoy what you have. You'll congratulate yourself on each improvement, which is another good thing
