Good vibes and maybe a prayer

    Got to spend this afternoon with the little guy. Took him to the store first to buy him some of his favorite things. DVD's of the Hulk, Turtles, and Transformers. A Hulk shirt, doll, and a Hulk jeep that fires missiles. Some mini oreo cookies, and back to my place to cuddle on the couch and watch the Hulk.

    As this kid sits in my lap, cuddling his Hulk doll....my eyes water up. I'm rubbing his head with 5 stitches in 2 spots, looking at the bruises from the IV's he had in him and the ones on his legs from the shots. What do you do besides tell the child you love the crap out of him and support him, boost up his will power to beat this thing ? I can't help but feel helpless. The reality folks is no matter what you do, how much money you have or the best HC can provide, we just don't have all the answers or the ability to completely protect them from all that can possibly go wrong.

    So heartbreaking to hear all this Tony. I hope and pray all the pain the little guy is going through with those shots will worth it in the end. Good thoughts, good vibes, and prayers being sent daily for your grandson, you and your family. God Bless.
