    Someone must have manually deleted my sig as it had no profanity in it. Still shows on my user profile page with asterisks in the middle of the word wris****ch.
    Wonder when the post about this being a Polk owned forum that they can do as they please with will show up...

    It was. I think I figured it out, though. Let's see if this works: wrist watch.

    Edit: Ok, it did work, and I see why the software picked it up when it was written as one word instead of two. Still doesn't make sense to me about my sig not showing the first posts in this thread. I thought that the Vbulletin software was set up so your signature only showed in the first post you make in a given thread, but not the subsequent posts.

    This is a privately owned and managed board where they can do as they please and set forth whatever rules they wish. Sad but true. Using this Site is a privilege for all.

    No one "got a bug up their butt" all that happened was a function of the operating program was enabled, no extra programming was required. In fact it was a CP member who told me about this feature and that I should enable it.

    I asked him to enable because I had a post deleted because it had the S word in it. Doesn't really bother me in the least. All Kenneth did was click a feature - evidently it included PM's as well. Who cares? It makes for less work for Kenneth so when *******s like me say ****, he doesn't have to go back in and edit it:wink:

    It wasn' because I found it offensive, but because it makes less work for Kenneth as an unpaid baby sitter.

    For the life of me I fail to understand why people make such a big deal about four letter words. It's not as though the censoring accomplishing a thing either. When someones reads, he's full of ****, your mind automatically fills in the ****.

    Actually, the one coach I had that could actually make me feel bad was the one that would come up to me and just quietly say "i'm disappointed in your performance today" Talk about feeling like crap...haha All the other coaches would come up and yell and scream, cussing the whole time. That never really bothered me.

    Sounds like overkill. Keeping the public area clean is worthwhile, but back and forth private banter shouldn't be affected. Since it is software, it should be possible to limit the fracking filter to thread posts.
