What do you think? The only other B&W speakers I've heard are the Matrix 802 which are one of the best I've heard so far.
I've been waiting for a used pair locally but they're not showing up. How would the DM6 compare to the Matrix 802? The things that impressed me most with the 802 are the clarity, mids, speed, depth and high frequencies.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Have not heard the DM6s. Listened to a pair of PM-1 bookshelves and was blown away! If I had 2,800 bucks laying around, I would get them. But I don't, so I will now pout.

I don't think they're in the same league as the PM1's. The DM6 are precursers to the original 801 and the first commercial speakers to use kevlar mids.
Anyway, I spent a few hours doing some research on the DM6 and it looks like they're getting pretty rare and a lot of people who own them won't let them go. Seems they have the old school B&W sound that is more warm compared to the newer ones.

So I've decided to get them. Trying to arrange pick up for this Saturday.

Will do. If things go as planned, I will have it on Sat. If not, probably on the 30th. I'm really excited about this one. My first pair of Beemers.
