I am running a sp16 tube pre and after I changed out the stock tubes, love it!

the d100A I think is a SS preamp yes? Good amp for its time. Remember its a 30 year old amp. Might need to be recapped or refreshed.

SP4 is also a SS preamp from 76 or 77? again, its a good pre and again, the tube ones were much better in my opinion but, I like SS for the amp and tube for the pre. Again it might need a recap due to age.

Also running the ARC SP16L and absolutely love it. I have a couple of extra sets of tubes, however still running the stock tubes. I've not liked the sound of ARC solid state gear as much as I've liked their tubed gear.

    For $500 (I'm a stalker...what can I say) I would jump on them.
I missed out on a similar vintage AR buy at my local shop recently and I punch myself in the junk everytime I think about it.

I bought them. They both are in good condition. A little work and they are close to mint.
I was able to get them and a Denon tuner for less than the original asking price.

    I hate your face!

Excellent deal. Even if you absolutely HATE them, you could flip them on the 'Bay for a tidy profit. Or you could sell em both to me for the $500 asking.

I would have to get some time with them to determine if I hate them.

    Where are you located?

Central IA. Hehe. I will be in New Jersey for a long weekend in April. Plenty of time to decide if you hate em or not. ;)

It looks like a good price according to Audigon. They have the last sale price on their site at $1260 and a low of $810.

The last sale on ebay went for $1150 plus shipping.
