I was using a Torch 9810 for the past 2 years. UNlike some reviewers, I had no issues navigating the new phone, perhaps that is due to the fact I own a playbook and although they are not the same they operate in a similar fashion. So far I am very impressed with the phone. It is nice and light, I don't even feel it in my pocket. Feels good in my hand. The new keyboard (touch screen) is by far the best I have used and seen (for me). This phone is fast!!! loading web pages in no time. I have played around with the camera and it takes good photos, I have not spent enough time playing with all the options not have I had time to use the video camera. The new desktop software is much better and easier to use, you don't even have to plug your phone in via usb. One thing to note, receiving emails are more slow as I was told they removed either BES OR BIS (can't recall) so push content is not right away like it was on my torch. The first couple updates do take a while and do consume lots of data so use wi-fi unless you have a big data package. I have no issues with the battery life I can go a couple days of heavy bbm and txt and some mild internet use on a single charge. One feature I really like is the voice activated software, I can say" send BBM" it will reply to who and I say who, then spit out what I wish to say it repeats it then I can send it. Great for in the car or when your hands are full. Apps are lacking but I'm not a heavy app user so I don't care but they have gone all out with all the movies and music and even TV shows. I have an 8g micro SD card on top of the 16g included, not even a dent in it yet. Swapping devices was easy, you have many options, either plug it in your pc or even backing up your device on your MSD card then inserting it in your phone and booting it from there. This came in handy for me cause I don't have access to the desktop software at work and I was able to get my Z10 set up and ready to go at work. I'll write more when I can think of more (I know there is) If you have any questions I'd be more than happy to answer (if I can).
Blackberry did a great job with this phone, I'll be it a bit late but who cares, they did it!

We have a couple "testers" here at work.

Leaps and bounds beyond anything Blackberry has ever released. I'm very impressed with it. Better look and feel than an iPhone, lighter too but feels more substantial. Extremely easy to use interface too.

I can't wait until we get them here! My work phone was due for replacement 18 months ago.

    Heh...

I kept it in since I got mine on launch day in Canada (Feb. 5) and hit up Minneapolis that weekend and I was DAMN happy to flaunt that new phone off. Loved showing people this new alternative to iPhone and the S3. I love it! Don't miss my Bold 9900 at all. The Q10 looks to be a sexy beast of a phone when it comes out.

I'm really glad I waited and went with this device as my first all touch screen phone. I use a iPhone4 for work and can't stand it... Call quality is the shh....

I love how when I'm typing I can swipe upwards and it fills in the words. So much faster! I played around with the camera and I really like the feature of being able to go back in time or ahead and choose the perfect moment. Really handy with young ones that move all the time. The reason I waited a bit to get mine was that our yearly "contract" was up start of March, I wanted to use that to my advantage to negotiate some major discounts and that I did, 20% off my internet, home phone went from 34 to 20$ got them to give me another 5$ off my wireless, credit my account for $50, cut down my early upgrade fee in half and wave any admin fees for the new phone. All that doesn't include the bundled discount anyone gets. Worth the wait! I just received my screen protector 2 days ago, installed and I'm waiting for my iSkin Vibes Cover-Carbon Black to arrive any day now.
I am finding it hard to sell my Torch 9810 right now. I've been able to flip my old phones usually in a couple days.

Is it locked? Mine was with Rogers which is nationwide. Someone should want a replacement you would think.

    Good luck!
