No, not Mickey...its my cordless mouse. Been lagging really bad when using the wheel to scroll down pages, herky-jerky like. If i use the scroll bar on the right hand side of the page, no problem. Yep, changed the battery..no difference...pc based....thoughts?

Hmm, so for someone like me who is computer challenged and doesn't know any better, its the mouse and not some kind of computer glitch or software glitch or something? Be a drag to spend the $ and find out the new mouse does the same thing:neutral:

If it's IE that's causing the problem, try this:

    Open IE
    Press ALT on the keyboard
    Click Tools
    Click Internet Options
    Click Advanced
Hunt down "Use smooth scrolling" and uncheck it.

Seems your tip worked, unchecked it and all seems well. But, to me, it doesn't make sense that unchecking it worked since you check the box to engage it...

I have one of those Logitech wireless keyboard & mouse packages. Some of the keyboard special keys stopped working, o I downloaded the newest firmware. Now the special keys work, but the mouse tracking speed restes itself every morning when we turn the PC on.

Change the settings with you being the administrator.

    Glad it worked!

If you had bought a new mouse like everyone else was suggesting, without unchecking that box you'd still have the same problem. :P
