What am I missing?

Here's my set up. Just wanting to get everyone's opinion on what I should add to improve my hardware in its current state. Bearing in mind this question pertains to home theater AUDIO only:
Polk Audio RtiA9 - Front x 2
Polk Audio CsiA6 - Center
Polk Audio FXiA6 - Surrounds x 4
Denon AVR 3313 CI
Oppo BDP 103
Emotiva XPA-5
SVS PB12 NSD
I was thinking of adding another SVS sub and/or another amp to drive the fronts only >200 WPC. My Emotiva currently powers the fronts, center, and sides. The receiver powers the rears... Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Any comments directed toward audio only please.

I would have probably went with an RTI A1 or A3 for the rears instead of the FXI A6 myself. Other than that, it sounds like a great set-up. What issue are you having, if any.

A 2nd SVS PB12 NSD might be my choice. Dual subs can make quite a difference depending on your room size.
-
What do YOU think is missing or lacking?
What is it you seek?
And - how much is your budget?

No issues. I was just wondering if there is something everyone might add to a similar setup. I agree with the second sub based off what I've read in this forum. My room size is 14'x23'.Polk Audio RtiA9 - Front x 2

Nice rig.
Stop obsessing and enjoy some music!

Another sub would surely increase your bass response. The addition of an XPA-2 to drive your mains would make your 2ch listening improve IMO. Aside from that, like DSkip mentioned, you have a very solid system.Source: BRP Panasonic UB9000, CDP Emotiva ERC3 - Display: LG OLED EVO 83 C3 - Pre/Pro: Marantz 8802A - Amplification: Emotiva XPA-DR3, XPA-2 x 2, XPA-6, Speakers, Mains/2ch-Focal Kanta No2's, C-LSiM706, S-702F/X, RS-RTiA9's, WS-RTiA9's, FH-RTiA3's, Subs - Epik Empire x 2

As recommended, I have been kicking around the idea of driving the fronts through an XPA-2. However, and this may seem like an idiot question from an idiot newb, but will the extra 100 watts make that much of a difference? My listening is 90/10, Movie/Music.Polk Audio RtiA9 - Front x 2

Have you looked into room treatments, or upgrading your speaker cables/power cables?

+1, drove mine with an XPA-3, equivalent to the XPA-5 in power, and was VERY happy with the X-tra 100w.
And, BRun has an awesome suggestion with Rm TrmtsSource: BRP Panasonic UB9000, CDP Emotiva ERC3 - Display: LG OLED EVO 83 C3 - Pre/Pro: Marantz 8802A - Amplification: Emotiva XPA-DR3, XPA-2 x 2, XPA-6, Speakers, Mains/2ch-Focal Kanta No2's, C-LSiM706, S-702F/X, RS-RTiA9's, WS-RTiA9's, FH-RTiA3's, Subs - Epik Empire x 2

What B said.
What are your room dimensions ?Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)
Preamp: Joule Electra LA-150 MKII SE
Amp: Wright WPA 50-50 EAT KT88s
Analog: Marantz TT-15S1 MBS Glider SL| Wright WPP100C Amperex BB 6er5 and 7316 & WPM-100 SUT
Digital: Mac mini 2.3GHz dual-core i5 8g RAM 1.5 TB HDD Music Server Amarra (memory play) - USB - W4S DAC 2
Cables: Mits S3 IC and Spk cables| PS Audio PCs -
Thanks to all for the suggestions. All of my cabling is Audioquest and I use 12 gauge speaker wire all the way around. I know this may seem like overkill considering my room dimensions of 14'x23' so place that one in the "newb mistake" category. Can anyone recommend a good place for acoustic paneling and some idea as far as placement? I understand the whole "reflection point" placement idea, but is there anything else I'm missing?Polk Audio RtiA9 - Front x 2

Add second matching sub...sit back & enjoy! Nice system you have there...even better when you add another matching sub. Also agree on adding a second sub, or look into using REW software from home theater shack and work on eq'ing the one you have. Either way room treatments or another sub will be a huge upgrade, didn't know you had Audioquest wire you should be good to go in that department.

My response eludes to your post title. What are you missing?? Sounds like a pretty stellar rig to me. If you are feeling the lack of bass than obviously a 2nd sub "could" be your answer. Otherwise cables, IC's, room treatments, etc might be a better use of funds. JMO....

Thanks again for all the tips. Based on the consensus here I believe I will look at adding another SVS sub. Awhile back someone here recommended another sub based on my room size and most of you have supported that recommendation. On another note, I am a performance car lover and it is amazing the similarities between home audio and aftermarket car parts - you can spend all you like and there will inevitably be something else you want....
I can't tell you how much help I have gleaned from this board and I truly appreciate everyone's thoughts and recommendations. I am considering a projector very soon - here we go again :biggrin:Polk Audio RtiA9 - Front x 2
