I had no idea what this show was until I found myself teaching tech-nerds in China (2009-10). They all "knew", and were watching episodes online? So I started watching around that time. The funny thing is that during my first year in Grad School almost all my suite mates were in Physics (two guys from Taiwan, a guy from Ca., and an experimental Physics Ph.D. candidate named "Leonard" (who had the worst time with women, lol). It's like I'm reliving my youth when I watch this? No I was not in physics but I certainly was surrounded by them. The big thing then was the PET computer (that one of the physics boys had because his Dad was one of the owner/founders of Commodore Electronics).

So much for life in the big city!
