I wouldn't buy since it's only one speaker, although even at that, I am tempted to hear what it sounds like. It looks pretty awesome, I just never heard of the brand before.

Anyone ever heard these?

First Guess: "White box" loudspeakers. (Junk)

All the hits I'm getting with Audiophonics seem to go back to some guy in Europe making low-production amps and speakers. Doesn't seem to be related to this loudspeaker.

It's 10 bucks. Chalk it up to what the hell if it sounds like crap. Don't know what use there would be for a single though...

They are a white van replica attempt at the vintage Pioneers.

Chrome trim rings more often than not mean junk. Save the 10 spot for something worthwhile.

Like a six-pack of Negro Modelo? Sounds good to me. And, this is not the first time that WV speakers have looked good to me. Fortunately I haven't actually bought any. Yet.

Work with a guy who owned that brand in college. Graduated, and bought new speakers, and threw those in the garage. His oldest son used them in college, and back they went to the garage. His youngest is now using them in college, and he hopes that they don't go back to the garage. He told me they make really bad sound, but that's it.

They look incredibly similar to some speakers that my best friend had from Montgomery Wards in the early '80s, chrome rings, mesh covers over the mid ant tweet and all. They were decent for rockin' out but didn't image too well.
