Alright so needing alot of advice. What i had was a pair of the Rtia7 towers but i just sold them and orderd a pair of lsim 703s. I also have two Pro660 subs and an a6 center. My plan is to order either the 704 or 706 center in a couple months but for the time being should i still use the a6 center or would it not match up right? Should I just ditch the a6 and use just the bookshelfs for the time being?

My other question is should I get a new receiver or is mine good enough? Also would anyone recommend adding a power amp? My current receiver is a Yamaha RXA 800. Im also using a Furman 15PFI and Audioquest Rocket44 speaker wire. If I did upgrade I had my mind on the Yamaha 1020. Would that be good enough or would I need to move up to the 2020? Or what If I used my current amp and just bi wired or added a power amp? I guess i just got a lot going through my mind on what I should do and would love any advice.

    Awesome.
    Welcome to Club Polk.

If I had those speakers inbound, I would definately be dreaming about amps when I went to sleep at night!

I am sure someone will chime in (I have never heard them myself).

Welcome and congrats on those 703's... they are really special speakers, for sure.

    - LSiM704 vs. 706: They're both great, but the 706 is better. Save up a little longer it will be worth it.

    - A6 vs no center: try it both ways and see what you like! That's all that matters!

    - Power: Those 703's are begging for an external power amplifier. You can drive them with your receiver... but you won't be able to hear what they're capable of. Luckily, your receiver has pre-outs, so you can add an amp easily!

Are you just running a three channel setup, or do you have surrounds? Depending on your setup, you may want a 2, 3, or 5 channel amp. There are lots of good options on the used market that won't break the bank.
    2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

Living Room: PC > Marantz AV-7703 > Emotiva XPA-5 > Sonus Faber Liuto Towers, Sonus Faber Liuto Center, Sonus Faber Liuto Bookshelves > Dual SVS PC12-Pluses

    Office: Phone/Tablet > AudioEngine B1 > McIntosh D100 > Bryston 4B-ST > Polk Audio LSiM-703's

Just to be clear: you'd be much better off keeping your current receiver and adding an external power amplifier than you would be upgrading your receiver.
