I'd like pics as well. Been pondering a 200x5 amp for a while now. This might be the perfect fit...

Sunfire Signature Grand Cinema 5 channel amp @ 400 wpc is a big difference between the sig and non sig in my opinion. Remember, it's not just for HT. You can bi amp with this unit without having to have a 2nd amp!

It's a excellent amp and was rebuilt by Rita in Snohomish, WA. Bob Carver signature with all the gold plated RCA interconnects. The 1400 is a Polkie price and if it doesn't go here Ill put in on the Gon for 1800.

Lol... Yeah man, I k ow these amps like the back of my hand. For the buck, these amps are the best on the planet for ht and music. The only reason I don't have one now is because of my tube amps. That is a steal of a price on that Sig guys. We are lucky to have those FM for deals like this one.

Great amps, great seller, great prices. Somebody buy these already.

    I don't sell junk!

Grand Cinema Signature has been sold to dpowell for a most exceelent price. These units have gone for 1800 or more on ebay but for me it is important to support the many Polkie hobbists that otherwise couldn't afford some of the gear that is available. I originally got a break on the price of this unit and I'm just passing it on.

kind of a weird thing to say when your selling something sight unseen. I myself would never buy something without looking at it. If its a stick of gum, or a new yacht. But to each his own. Glad you seem to have sold it to someone :) these days you cant be to careful

The whole thing about being a Polkie is that you do trust each other. You're still a newbe but you will learn on who is reliable on the Polk forum.

+1 This site isn't CL where the folks are unknown. Those of us who have been around awhile have a level of trust in those who join to be long-term contributing members and not just post enough to sell their junk.

BTW, can you send some pictures now that I've paid for it?

Well, there are many members in here and I don't think all of us know the seller that well. Also, his ratting on the condition of the items might not be the same as others' expectation. If the seller doesn't want to post the pictures, that's fine. I'm just not interested if there are no pictures. Just my 2 cents! :)

    ^^This.

This is not a commentary on anyone or anything in this particular thread, but what a seller claims as "mint" might just be "fair" to more picky buyers. It doesn't matter if one person 'knows' another on here. We all grade things differently. Put all your cards on the table so there's no surprises later. Pics of gear, especially when buying across the country, is an absolute must, IMO.

That said, Bill is a stand-up guy. And I wish like hell I needed an amp. I actually DID about three weeks ago! Dangit Bill!!!

On a side note, I trust people, I just don't trust their judgement half of the time lol I would trust most the people on here in a heart beat over most people on CL.
My thing was being surprised that posting pictures was such a hard thing to do... I mean if this was 10 years ago then maybe? But now a days who doesn't have a digital camera, or a cell phone that takes pictures? If you have thousand dollar plus equipment but not a way to take a picture of it, i think its time to invest in a camera lol just saying :)

btw thanks for posting a picture of the amp
