I'd like to get my ears on this. I have had many older Yamaha gear I really liked, but there for a while it looked like they were going to low/mid fi to all their gear. It really doesn't get into what dac's they are using which is a bummer that they're not letting us know.
man it sure is pretty....

    Who's gonna spend that coin ? If they threw in a digital input, like Oppo, then maybe it would draw some attention. Otherwise, it's outdated from the gitgo imho.

    Since it has been out soo long guess that explains why it doesn't have the digital input. First thing I thought was that is a steep price when Oppo has some good players out for less. Still doesn't explain why they don't explain the inards....

    yep that is why they are making SACD players again... I actually think Sony said they weren't going to bring out any new SACD titles and stop making any SACD disc's, but that has been taken up by many other manufactures.

    Like Vinyl they will not go away...I'm glad for that!!
