How are you liking the Yamaha Aventage RX-A2000 ?
can you comment on how much better the 2000 will sound compared to my almost entry level RXV 465?Samsung PN58C500/Amp: Yamaha RX-V465/Polk DSW1KProSub/DefTECH SM450/C1CC/Pro80/Sony BPX37 BD/Magnavox515/ HTPC-CPU: I3 550, 3.2 GHz/Mobo: Intel H57/RAM: 6GB DDR3 1333/HDD: 1TB/2TB Internal, 1TB external/Tuner: 1600-950 Haupague/W7 64 OS Remote: Harmony 700 -
I ran the auto mic setup with the knob at 1/2 level. From there I let receiver do its thing and I just bumped the level up a bit in the settings menu.
I love my Yammie. It has plenty of power and can accommodate just about every user. It would definitely be a step up from your entry level Yammie. The difference is almost night and day.Front- RTI A7,(powered by ADCOM GFA 5500)

That is exactly how I purchased mine. Local CL find. I got my PC Ultra for $375 a couple years back. He had 2 but I didn't have the funds at that time. I'd love to find another one just to even out the room symmetry.AVR: Pioneer Elite SC-67
