Polk TL3 - Can you take off the heel bit.
I have the Polk TL3 speakers and was wondering if the bottom heel bit can be taken off? From the picture, it's the thing that holds up the speakers on a flat surface, the area below the gap. It is detachable basically.

That's part of the power port, you should leave it in place.Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."

I believe that's part of Polk's Power Port and should be left alone."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

I am assuming you want to angle it downwards on a bracket...would suggest a different bracket because as listed above it is part of the design and will probably change the dynamics.
The LSiM 703 have power ports too, for bass dispersion...see pic
