Hi, I'm tryin to put together a AVR/preamp-soundprocessor combo for the RTi12s for fronts, CSi5 for center, FXi5 for surrounds and either the SVS PSBI sub or the Hsu VTF2 sub. I'm willing to spend at most $1500 on the AVR/ separates.
I've looked at the Denon AVR3803 for AVR and using 2 Outlaw audio's M-block to each drive one RTi12s. What's your guys' take on this combo? There is also a Parasound 2 channel amp called the 1500 something that puts out 205 watts x 2 channels that's THX Ultra certified for around $1000. I'd appreciate any recommendations that you guys might come up with, since there are some here that has a similar setup. I'll be using the system for about %70 movies and %30 music. Thanks alot for reading this.

Since you're using an external amp, it's probably better to buy a lower model Denon that have pre-outs. You'll be paying for 2 amp sections you won't need with the bigger units.

I haven't heard Outlaw or Parasound but there are fans of both in this forum.

Buy the 3803 and the RTi8's.

Take the $$ you save NOT buying the 12's and the external amps and buy an SVS PB2+.

The combination of the RTi8 and the PB2+ will be superior in every way.

3803 is older model, but 6ave has great price for 648, asking for
    3802 free upgrade.
Another great receiver is Yamaha rx-v1400(basically same as 2400), new model with PLIIx support.

As for sub, both SVS and Hsu are good.
