Struck out again....at the Goodwill

Well today was the day. Had to go back to the cardiologist to find out if I will have to have another cardiac ablation done. Which I figured I would...and I do! I was actually looking forward to this trip because it meant I could check out the thrift stores and what not. Keep in mind I live WAY out in the country, so going to the "big city" is a treat...sometimes anyways. I managed to hit 2 thrift stores, 2 Goodwills and a Salvation Army store. Nada...nothing....not a damn thing audio related at all! :frown:
It's been such a dry spell for me....about a year now. lol
EDIT: AND to top it off....a dude with a pair of ADS that need some rehab "wanted" to do some trading with me. Now he is MIA.

cardiac ablation - at face value, that does not sound like a good thing! :-O

Mark...the doc did say that a decent pair of coaxials would make me feel better. Found any at the dump lately?
Actually the ablation is a procedure where they go in and cauterize some nerve endings that are making the heart misfire. It is a fairly painless procedure for me. Just means at least 1 to 2 weeks out of work. Of which I can not really afford.--Gary--

Sorry to hear you have to have that procedure done again gary, but good to know its relatively painless.
Good luck, and hopefully its permanent this timehumpty dumpty was pushed -
OK - my literal interpretation of the term was ablating the whole dang shooting match - you know, Aztec-style! :-(
Let's see - the last coaxes I found a la dump were these; sort of interesting (in a bizarre way) and actually not bad sounding... but not likely to be effective clinically in a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study :-)
Take care, sir!
