Parents think they want a HT in a box type of set up. They have listened to my setup and like it but will not pay that kind of money. Just wanted some input on a good (and I use the term loosly) HT in a box to go and listen to. They want to keep the price cheap but I dont mind kicking in some coin to get them something decent.

How much ching are they willing to part with? I'd say show them the RM6700 with a PSW303 (-$200 on the sub promo). That puts you at $699 plus a receiver. See if they'll drop maybe $400 on that. Play a movie on that system versus any htib and they will be forced to buy it to avoid the embarrassing fact that they even considered an hitb in the first place. ;)

Fire I went to a few dealers today and had a look at a few HTIAB my ears are still begging to crank up the Polks! I was thinking of the Polk RM6700 but 600 without the recever is pushing for them. I had an offer on a Onk HTIAB 900 and change tax in recever powered sub and all the speakers.
Gona run that by them the Onk is atleast bookshelf type speakers. I'll see were they stand on that one.
