Tube junk on the porch today.......

Unknown
edited February 2013 in The Clubhouse
When I got home today.
Buddy of mine was telling me about it a couple of weeks ago.
I told him I did not want it.

I guess instead of taking it to the landfill, he would bring it over here.

Actually better shape than the pics shows.
Has record storage in the bottom left door.

Isn't that a super nice TT!

No model # what so ever, just "Stewart Warner" on the tuner.

I may call him and tell him to come get it off my porch, so I don't have to take it to the landfill.

Any old timers remember these?

Pull the tube amp and play around with it, heat the house with the rest. Those old tube amps though not powerfull could still push some efficient speakers to ear bleed levels. See....should have kept your dim bulb tester.

As a side note Paul, Me personally....I don't keep my ....um...."junk" on the porch. Neighbors call the cops usually when that happens so bring your "junk" inside asap.

    1951 (still no model #).
    Honduras Mahogany.
    7 tubes plus rectifier.

Would make a killer guitar amp cabinet.
    Slap a Celestion 8" in it, and mount a 1/4" plug input.

Here is an add for sale.
Top right model in the add.
