RTi8 vs RTi10
I need your experiences to determine which RTi is better for me between the 8 and 10???
Some people in different forums post that the Rti8 are better, why??
I only have the oportunity to listen the RTi8. Excellent clarity!!
I am trying to decide my front speakers:
Front RTi ??
Center CSi5
Rear FXi5
Subwoofer PSW505
Receiver Denon 3803
Your feeback is important to me.
Thanks!!

I would say the 8's would be a good move for ya. I'd be a bit concerned about a little too much bass response with a sub plus four 7" woofers. Your music reproduction might end up on the boomy side. Others may disagree, but if you've already got the sub, I see no need to pay for more bass than you realistically can use.

Don't tell me that no one is gonna jup in, **** slap me and tell the world my momma is ugly and that lilo should get the 10's!!

I agree with Frank. The RTi8's, in this case are the better choice IMO. It will allow your Denon to breathe easier, and beings you have a subwoofer....I think you would be hard pressed to find a sonic difference in the RTi10 over the RTi8. Bigger is not always better.
Let us know what you buy, its important to the forum also.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
get the 10's. That way you eliminate the "what if" factor.Home Speakers polkaudio RTi70's (bi-wired), CSi30, FX3000i, PSW250
Car speakers polkaudio EX 369, DB 650 -
no he will still have the "what if i bought the 8's" factor so thats not a great reason to buy anything. the combination of the 505 and the 8's will sound better then the combination of the 10's and the 505. you will have clearer more detailed midrange because of the extra midrange driver and most likely the same amount of bass because you will be crossing the speakers at around 80 hz anyway. i know that the 10's look more appealing because they are technically higher in the line but that doesnt make them better just different, dont buy them because of the model number. did u already buy teh csi5 and the fxi5? or are you planning on buying this whole setup at once?

Yes, I`m planning on buying the whole setup at once.
I decide to buy the 8`s.
Thanks guys for the opnions, very helpful. -
good choice, i dont think u will be dissappointed.....u might want to audition the fxi5 and fxi3 next to eachother to see if the fxi5 is worth the extra cash....most people will agree that the fxi50 was not worth the extra cash over the fxi30. not all people but most of the people i came across had i30's, including myself. i dont know about the new line though, thats y u should try to audition them side by side to see if u should really drop the extra cash.

I change my mind about the FXi5. I decide to buy the RTi4 because my HT location is open on both side. Thanks anyway for your advice.

Lilo - Excellent choices. You will not be disappointed.
