Very nice Onkyo Integra A 809 remote controlled integrated amp. This was Onkyo's top of the line amp in 1991. I used to wrok in the audio biz and sold these when new. The Integra line was Onkyo's high end so to speak. This amp puts out 105 watts per channel into 8 ohms and over 300 watts per channel into 2 ohms dynamic. It weighs 37lbs and is built like a tank. All functions and features work asm they should and all controls have a very nice solid feel to them. I do not have the remote but they can be found on line for around $20. The amp is in excellent condition with a few marks on the top and one tiny little nick by the power button. The original power cord has been reattched ( spliced and soildered ) as I use a detachabler cord with my gear.
The A809* features Onkyo's AEI transformer, all discrete parts as well as high quality caps and very sort signal path. Can drive two sets of speakers and headphones. Has inputs for CD, Aux 1 and 2, DAT, Phono (MM or MC), and tape 1 and 2. Also has a record out selector and tape dubbing. Included are bass and treble controls with defeat, mono/stereo switch,subsonic filter and -20db muting. The entire control section can be bypassed using the Direct setting. The unit screams quality with its look and feel. lots of attention to detail. The sound is slightly warm with a very large stage. All in all a beautiful looking amp ,well built ,nice sounding and has a great feel to the controls.

I have one of these stored away. Very nice amp. Geppy's description of the amp as being a tad warm is spot on. Fit and finish are very nice. It would be hard to beat in a two channel system for less than 2 bills.
