Some good news

Hi everyone I wanted to pass along some good news that I got this week. After years of being a contract worker and never knowing when my job was going to end I applied and was offered a job with UNCH. I will be working as a PC software specialist. Since the hospital is funded by the state this will be a state job with great pay and benefits. My first official day is March 4th. I hope that I can stay here for the rest of my career and be able to retire in 20 years with a full pension.
This takes so much stress off of me. For the first time in a long time I feel really good about things.

That's so good to hear, Dave! For years now, we have seen many threads posted by our brethren since '07 that speak of lost jobs. It's refreshing to hear that someone nailed one and a good one to boot. Congrat's.
Oh and by the way. Lightman1 is still around and lurking, he's just gone and found him one of them lady friends.
