Are you looking for a stand alone decoder? You might be better off picking up a new/used receiver that can decode DTS.

people keep telling me that there is a difference and thats not the way to go. so basicaly you are saying that i should buy a reciver, a cheap one and use it as a pre amp right?
is there any special way to hook it up will it work?
thanx for the replyWish I was a polkologist then I could call my self Dr.warviper. -
If you have a power amp than a receiver (pre-amp/processor) is the way to go. If you tell us what amp and budget you have then we can give you some recommendations.Graham

Why are you looking for a DTS only decoder? There isn't much DTS only material out there. If you are using it for Video material mnay DVD players have the decoding built in.

Good choice Viper. Yamaha makes a solid unit and it will decode DTS just fine (still curious about why you were orignally searching for a stand alone unit). You have seperate amps? Anyways, enjoy!Polk CS245i Center
