ECC802s tubes

I've got a pair of ECC802s tubes,long gray plate w/halo getters. These are as close to a matching pair as you can get without being perfectly matched. I'll throw in an extra pair of 12AU7's to sweeten the pot. I was very impressed at how good these were. Worth every penny.

    I know only a few companies made ECC802s. Do you know the manufacturer of these? Thanks.

    Are these taller than standard 12AU7's?

    I do not know the manufacturer and they are the same height as the free 12AU7's

    If thats the case they are priced about $200 less than the typical going rate. Probably the Tesla imitations that are very common. Still a good tube, but nowhere near the original Tesla or TFK.

    They are Tesla.(Checked the other tube,I'm a dumbass). One seems to have an 8 and the other a 14. My eyes are never what they used to be.:cry:

    All I can tell you is that they sound great and a good deal considering I'm throwing in another pair with them.

    I have preamp uses 12au7. If ECC802s tubes and 12au7 are interchangeable, I will take them.

    Max, these are interchangable with 12AU7's. You are good to go.

    We are close Max, but I am not the seller of the tubes. I was only offering an answer to your question about interchangability of the ECC802S and 12AU7 tubes. You'll have to talk to daboyz about buying the tubes. If the tubes are well packed, shipping won't be a problem.
